Technology is changing the way people live and today many houses are becoming smart homes. More and more families use robots at home to help with daily activities, but not everyone trusts this technology. For example, I would not trust a robot in my house because I think machines can make mistakes or stop working suddenly. Also, I think people can become too dependent on technology.
Even if I do not trust robots, they can still be useful in some situations. A robot could clean the house, cook, wash the floor, or help carry heavy objects. Some robots can also control home security or remind old people to take their medicine. Smart homes have many advantages for elderly people because they can control lights, doors, and temperature in an easy and fast way, even with their voice.
In my opinion, however, no robot can completely replace a person. Human relationships and help from family are much more important than technology. For this reason, I think people should use robots and smart homes only as a support, without trusting machines too much or depending completely on them.
